Today’s challenge is to take yourself out on a date. Whether you are single or taken make plans for just you. Go to dinner, the movies, out for coffee and don’t hide behind your cell phone, book, or magazine. Learn to be with you and just you. We ALL need this time to reconnect with ourselves and to just be. It’s ok to be alone. It’s ok to like it. I remember when I first started being ok going out for coffee alone or eating a meal alone. It was a little weird at first but then it was awesome. Just being. No talking. No entertaining. No having to put a smile on my face. Just being with me and really liking it. It was the best. And when I get the chance to do it every now and then I still enjoy it. It’s a special time. So go treat yourself. And enjoy it!
