2010 Abercorn Street

I started working for Salon 2010 in September of 2011 after Atmospheres Salon closed. I had been at Atmospheres for almost 2 years. The owner, another co-worker, and I all went to Salon 2010. I was so nervous about the whole situation. We were only given a 2 1/2 week notice that Atmospheres was closing. The owner had a guaranteed spot at Salon 2010 and we asked her to help us get on there. The staff welcomed us with open arms. I had never been a booth renter before so I was new to the whole thing. I was excited to be my own boss and be on my own for the first time. I couldn’t have done it without the support of many. Starting off at Atmospheres really helped me to build the clientele I needed and wanted. My guests are amazing, talented, loving, kind, caring people. My family is smart and experienced and really helped to guide me along. Everyone at Salon 2010 welcomed us, loved us, and have treated us so amazing over the last year. I have been in the work world for almost 15 years now and I have had 1 to many jobs to say the least. There are pros and cons to everything. I have learned to make the best out of the situation at hand. If I have any issues or I am unhappy with something, I talk to someone who can help me, or I try to make things better. I am truly blessed to have found Salon 2010. For the first time in my life I don’t go home everyday complaining about someone or something. They are a great group of talented and kind people that want like minded people to be apart of their team. It’s so nice to walk into work everyday and be HAPPY about it. We have all had or have those jobs that we dread going to everyday. Don’t let that happen to you or continue to let it happen. Follow your dreams, your heart. My life is better because of the change I was forced to make. And I am so thankful for that.

Thank you, Salon 2010!
